Top Lisburn companies by revenue

Lisburn is small but bustling city, currently undergoing a period of rapid growth and regeneration. The local population grew by 10.4% in the decade from 2007 to 2017, and currently sits at 142,640, with a further one million people located within 30 minutes. The wider district of Lisburn Castlereagh City is enjoying a range of development projects thanks to the strong workforce, diverse economy and local government's Economic Vision.

The region plays host to an array of market-leading brands, including Coca-Cola, Bombardier and Assa Abloy. It's not all big names, though; Lisburn has a lively SME scene, with more than 4,300 businesses registered in the district - accounting for 6% of all companies in Northern Ireland.

With such an abundance of potential available for businesses across all sectors, you might be interested to know which businesses are performing the best in Lisburn. We've put together the following list using our Lisburn B2B data, ordering the top companies by revenue. See the results here.

The list above shows the amount of potential available across Lisburn, thanks to its strong and varied economy. One industry that is particularly likely to take advantage of this potential to fuel further growth is the tourism sector. Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council have outlined plans to invest around £30 million into the industry, with a boost in visitors expected following the redevelopment of Hillsborough Castle, to be completed in 2019.

Another big push for the city's economy will come with the expansion of Camlin's headquarters. The company, which produces and supplies engineering products, announced the plans in 2018, worth £28 million and creating almost 300 jobs.
